EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Butler County Probate Office has an opening for tag clerk.

Applications may be picked up at the Butler County Courthouse, 700 Court Square, Greenville, AL, inside the Probate Office.

 Job Summary: This is a full-time position of 32 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: processing motor vehicle registrations, issuing various state and county licenses, answering phone calls, providing information, and assisting the public.

 Job Qualifications: Prior customer service experience is preferred. Applicants should also possess basic computer and math skills, including the ability to manage cash transactions. A willingness to learn, working as a team member, and being able to follow policies and procedures are extremely important. High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
